Dans cet épisode, nous vous présentons l’organe « cœur » selon la médecine traditionnelle chinoise, en partant du caractère chinois 心 (xīn). Bien plus qu’un simple organe, le cœur est considéré comme le siège de l’esprit et des émotions.Le caractère 心 représente graphiquement un cœur stylisé. Il apparaît dans de nombreux mots liés aux émotions, à la pensée ou au comportement.Par exemple :忘 (wàng) : oublier. Ce caractère est composé de 忄 (la forme abrégée de 心) et de 亡 (mourir, disparaître). Oublier, c’est donc comme « perdre le cœur »... Une belle image de la mémoire émotionnelle.忍 (rěn) : endurer, supporter. Ce caractère montre un couteau (刃) au-dessus du cœur. Il exprime la souffrance contenue, la patience, voire la résilience émotionnelle.Enfin, comment parler du cœur sans évoquer l’amour ?
