Episode 35: Santa's Shadow
from Women In Caskets
Welcome to Christmas in July where Dawn and Jen use the non-holiday to talk about some holiday movies they might have forgotten to watch over the actual holidays. Today's feature is 2015's twist on the family holiday movie: Krampus. Along with some truly brilliant practical puppetry, an A+ subversion of sappy Christmas tales, and a truly horror-worthy ending, the hosts sing the praises of the humble casting director, Jen has a problem with envelopes and Dawn takes a missed plot opportunity and makes it better with a Tremors reference. NOTE: We realize we got Conchata Farrell's name wrong in the podcast and for that we are truly sorry. Seriously, she's awesome. Thanks always to The Shape for the intro/outro music.
