Buddy Ascott from The Chords joins me, Steve from Retro Man Blog to discuss the band's new definitive 5CD retrospective "Re-Chordings 1978-1981" box set. In this episode Buddy reads some extracts from his liner notes and plays a couple of rare Chords tracks from the box set. There's news of two upcoming launch parties to promote the release and he looks back on his successful Budstock birthday party at the 100 Club. We also play a new track from Buddy's current band The Fallen Leaves and hear an example of his production work with a new song from Proper.
