EPISODE 357: Lamenting through Song with Paul Ranheim and Kirk Sauers

from The Making Sunday Happen Podcast · host [twelve:thirty]media

Today we welcome to the show Paul Ranheim and Kirk Sauers. Paul is a minister and songwriter in Colorado with a heart for resourcing the church’s worship through song and cultivating leaders. Kirk is a Worship Leader in Georgia with a passion to shepherd a diverse body of Christ through music. These guys collectively are known as The Wood Drake Sessions. Their brand new album From the Valley to the Golden Shore is a collection of songs for the Church that helps us worship our Lord through the cultural moments we are facing in the world today. We recorded this interview a few weeks ago right after the school shooting tragedy in Ulvade Texas. And a shooting that occurred in Tulsa, OK around the same time. You’re going to hear the heart of these guys and how you too, as pastors, worship leaders, church staff can help your people process some of the crazy things we are seeing, heartbreaking things we are processing. We pray this interview blesses you and inspires you as you lead.
