Episode 359 - Dual Segment Genesis

After some massive pre-show technical difficulties on Brian's part that ultimately resulted in him falling off the call for the duration of the episode, we got a nice fast start this week. One of our listeners (Turner!) gave us an idea for a new recurring segment! We're going back to old sets that existed before the Mythic rarity and picking out which rares would be Mythics now. We don't have a name for it just yet, so feel free to send us any ideas. We're kicking it off with a look back at Legions, the first small set that came out once we all started playing together. Let us know what you think! After that, we move on to another first appearance of a recurring segment! Dirk's Creature Corner makes its debut here! Since Dirk's background is in Biology, he's going to be leading us in a discussion about various creatures in Magic and how they just can't exist in the real world. We're kicking it off with everyone's favorite pop-culture horror icon, the Zombie! Let us know what you think of our two new segments!
