from Straight Talk on Leadership with Dean Crisp · host Andrew Crisp/ Ofc. Brad James

We are introducing a new series called, "Stories from the Thin Blue Line", where we will have men and women who have survived tragic events come on the show periodically and tell their stories. The theme is to dive deep into the events and share what they have learned and possibly help anyone who might or are currently trying to deal with similar occurrences. In this week's episode, we pick back up from where we left off in the first part of this story (see Episode 35) when Brad was shot and taking cover behind a brick mailbox on Kimberly Drive in Spartanburg, South Carolina. We dive back into the action and explore how Officer James has healed and how he has dealt with his ongoing issues due to the shooting. We also explore what Officer James has learned from the incident as well as his ideas to future LEO if ever faced in the same situation.(Please visit our website www.lhln.org to see the pictures of Officer James and his injuries from that night as well as his information/social media handles if you choose to reach out to him for more information). © 2026 Dean Crisp and LHLN (ALL RIGHTS RESERVED).
