His poems and essays have appeared in the New Yorker, The New York Times, the Sun, and Reptiles of the Mind. Each month Sparrow writes an art review for Chronogram. He is currently running for President for the ninth time. Sparrow plays slide flute in the tempestuous pop group Truffles.
