Episode 36 - The Jigsaw Murders

from Grievous Bodily Harm Podcast · host Karen Scaife

This case has everything! I mean, hi, happy Thursday…..this case has everything! It is the story of a brutal murderer whose level of butchery was intense and resulted in him being dubbed ‘The Jigsaw Killer’. It’s a rollercoaster of a tale, we travel from India to the Middle East, England and Scotland.  I chose it because it takes place around where my family is from, or part of it does, but really for the leap that was made in forensic science because of it.  What should have been an incredibly difficult case to solve, even with today’s technology, was closed relatively quickly thanks to great police work and great science. A monster was caught before he could do any more butchering and the role that forensics can play in solving a crime was suddenly noticed by law enforcement.  You can listen wherever you get your podcasts or by visiting our website at  http://www.grievousbodilyharmpodcast.com Email us at [email protected] Please like, subscribe and share.
