Episode 362: 'Itch!' (2026)
from Adventures in Movies! Hosted by Blake Heath/Nathaniel Muir
Tale From the Crypt is one of the best anthology horror shows of all time. One of the things that made it so special is that so much has been left to our memories. It has not been available for literally decades. We are excited to hear that the full series is coming to Shudder, but we also wonder how well it will hold up. One of the most important parts of starting any new job is the onboarding process. It is during this time that you learn all the rules and regulations that will govern your work life. We found an instructional work video from the late 1980s that is one of the funniest and most disgusting things we have ever seen. One of the big surprises of the post-Covid world is the lack of movies about it. This is not a complaint as we thought he would be flooded by pandemic films. There have been a few, but the films that have dealt with it have chosen to dance around it or use it as a storytelling device. Such is the case with Itch! The premise includes the sudden onset of a virus that leads to a lockdown. It is a relatable situation that also includes some old horror tropes. There are some good moments, but it is a frustrating watch. Adventures in Movies! is hosted by Nathaniel and Blake. You can find Nathaniel on Instagram at nathaninpoortaste.
