While it’s difficult to completely divorce ourselves from Huxley’s novel, we judge the show on its own merits as an independent entity that is “influenced by” the classic 1932 dystopian work. In our What We're Watching segment, Dave completes Simon Barry’s latest offering Warrior Nun, and even though he’s fairly satisfied with the current season of Marvel Agents of SHIELD, whether Fitz ever returns doesn’t matter to him any more. Caught a bit off guard by Norsemen’s third season, Wayne, nonetheless, is on board with the narrative paradigm shift. In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands wonders whether the writers of NBC Peacock’s Brave New World will draw from previous attempts to bring Huxley’s novel to the small screen.
