Send us Fan MailThis episode looks at Zephaniah 3:8-13 and Acts 2:1-4. In the Zephaniah passage, we are made acutely aware of the fact God will judge sin. However, the prophet also gives a glimmer of hope because God also seeks to bring restoration. The prophet points to the restoration that will come through the Holy Ghost. Acts 2 tells us of the initial outpouring of the Holy Ghost and gives all of us the hope of restoration we can receive through the power of God's Spirit living inside us. We learn from this lesson that though God judges rebellion and sin, we can find restoration if we turn to Him.For those who use Word Aflame Curriculum, the Bible passage focused on in this episode comes from Lesson 5 of The Living Word, Winter 2020-21, entitled, "God Will Restore" (January 3, 2021).
