Episode 37: If you fail to plan, you can plan to fail

This week, Gary is joined by Angelo Lyall, VP of Business Development at Canada Rubber.  Together, they explore the way the Covid pandemic has affected the workforce, and what changes they expect to see as we move forward in 2021 and 2022.  Angelo speaks about the surprising shift he experienced in his position, with more of a focus on being sensitive to other people’s mental state vs. solely their job productivity.  With factories and workplaces open throughout the pandemic, he was able to create a place where people could keep a sense of community and take their mind off other problems.  Angelo and Gary also reflect on the differences in response to the pandemic between Canada and the United States, and how that has affected the countries’ economies.
