As the current HMGS president, Historical Miniatures Gaming Society, Jon is responsible for overseeing an educational, non-profit, organization whose claimed purpose is to promote the study of military history through the art of tabletop miniature wargaming, with members primarily in the Atlantic and North-east regions of the United States. HMGS also puts on 3 of the largest wargaming conventions in the U.S.: Cold Wars, Historicon, and Fall In.
