Michael Carpenter has served as Director of Development at Uncommon Sports Group (USG) since July 2018 and oversees all professional development, strengths training, scholarship funding, and domestic service projects. Prior to joining USG, Carpenter served four seasons as a student manager for the University of Virginia men’s basketball program from 2010-14 while receiving his B.S. in politics-foreign affairs. He then made stops at D.C. United, Wake Forest University, Texas A&M University, and Liberty University, each in a variety of development roles. He earned his master's in higher education (athletic administration) from the University of Oklahoma in 2015. He can be reached at [email protected].
