Episode 371: Gardenwalk (Alternative) [Catonsville, MD]

Episode 371 features Gardenwalk from Catonsville, Maryland. They are featured at this year’s 5th annual PTR Fest at Fish Head Cantina JULY 18 in Halethorpe, MD, just south of Baltimore. They will be hitting the stage at roughly 6pm so get there early! Gardenwalk channels melodic gaze-core, drawing from shoegaze, post-hardcore, and alternative. Their sound juxtaposes delicate vocals with atmospheric grit, balancing fragility with catharsis. They are currently in the process of writing new music and I featured a short snippet of one of their new demos called “Playlist for the Moon.” In the interview, I spoke with Shaina and Brad.
