Send us Fan MailAnd so I am back into the second half of the show, the 2019 Zomboat! available on Amazon, an ITV2 show of 6 20 something minute episodes. So to break it down, it is set in Birmingham, for those not in the UK, it is the second largest city in the UK, in the middle of the country. We have Kat a movie and gaming nerd, her self-obsessed vacuous sister Jo, nice but lazy guy Sunny, and nice but a bit vain guy Amar.Episode one the escapeEpisode two trying to find a car and a phoneEpisode three the hotelEpisode four the supermarketEpisode five the fuelEpisode six the shelterEach episode had a zombie movie trope to use as it's and it didn't always do it well.In the end there is a decent twist at the end of episode 6, and the acting, FX and most of the writing was fine. I would question how long the show could have gone on after this season. And ultimately it was a comedic show on par with Dead Set, if a fraction below it.I still would recommend it to anyone that hasn't seen it. It is a 5.5/10 for me as there was nothing really wrong with it. Kat reminded me of Night of the Living Deb a little, and the boys a bit of Riz Ahmed in Dead Set.Could they have made a second season? Maybe, but it would need to have really gained something new to keep you attention.Again, 5.5/10
