Episode 372 - Orchestration

This episode covers the latest Microsoft 365, Copilot, security, OneDrive and Intune updates, along with some thoughts on what we can expect from Microsoft Ignite. I also look at recent MSP security concerns around ConnectWise and SkyKick and why better logging, auditing and monitoring should be a priority. The bigger topic, however, is where AI is taking the MSP industry. AI will increasingly automate traditional Tier 1 work, while customers will expect IT providers to deliver faster, more consistent services at a lower cost. But putting AI into individual PSA, RMM and security products only creates more intelligent silos. The real opportunity is orchestration: an AI layer across the entire technology stack that can bring these systems together and act more like a digital employee. I share what I've been doing with Grokbot and why I think this orchestration model is where MSPs need to be heading.
