Episode 38
from This Nintendo Life · host TNL
This week on the show, Nbz and Bally are reeling from an incredible performance at the Legend of Zelda Symphony, but more of that later! First up we talk about the games we've been playing, kicking it off with an e-shop gem, Box Boy! You mean to tell me that HAL makes games which don't feature Kirby? Yep that's right, and this awesome little puzzle platformer that both Nbz and Bally have been playing makes a case for them straying from the pink blob far more often. Bally also checks in with some progress on Xenoblade Chronicles 3D which he is making good headway in. Nbz then talks a little about playing with Mewtwo in Smash Bros, before moving on to the classic JRPG, Chrono Trigger, which he feels holds up remarkably well. Finally Nbz closes out what we've been playing with Monument Valley, a short but amazing iOS game! Yes I know, Nbz does play games on phones sometimes! After the break we bring you our live recording from the Zelda symphony, where we give all of our impressions about the event. We then close out the show with some listener mail, including a question asking about what games we would take back in time and show to people of the NES era!
