from Shine: Inspired Jewish Women Podcast · host Eve Levy

Meet Tal Basalli: A rockstar Jewish Woman living in Venice, Italy. She is originally from the UK and then lived in Israel. Tal has created an online Jewish school for her own kids, which became a non-profit school for Jewish children living across Europe and Africa. They have had kids from 11 countries! Our Sages have taught us that when there is a need that isn't being filled, you need to step up and fill that need. Well, Tal has done just that and much more. She has created Zehud, an amazing online school that has broken down walls and taught her that anything is possible nowadays. Tal strongly believes that the future has to be stronger than the past. Her tiny Jewish community has often felt more like a museum than a vibrant growing community and she knows that education is the key for a strong Jewish future.  www.school.zehud.com
