Born and raised in Queens, NY Chef Johnny Ulloa , with a Central American background , both his Parents migrated from Honduras. Growing up in Elmhurst, and Corona, Queens. Johnny was always surrounded by great eats and grew up eating well at home as well, as both his parents cooked at home and at a young age he would find himself helping out. Chef Johnny Has done it all, from Owning his very own small catering Business Sarco Catering Co, Consulting, to working kitchens in the hotel industry, Fine Dining industry , Gastropubs, and rooftops in NYC. Currently Johnny is the Executive Chef at Skyroom Rooftop right in the heart of New York Times square where locals and many tourist, and private and corporate events come enjoy his food. Chef Johnny has also worked with Food Networks Chef Robert Irvine assisting him many occasions as his sous Chef for live cooking shows and taking care of VIP guest. Chef Johnny is also a Food Networks Chopped Finalist where he was just shy of winning in the final, and now his main goal is to be a great man, a great father to his 3 kids Joseph, Emma and Alex and just show the world that military chefs can cook, and he wants to put central American food on the map specially his beloved Honduras.
