Episode 38: My Discovery

from The Being On Stage Podcast · host Reggie Daughson

The day I discovered my performance style is a day I will never forget. I met an entertainer that was absolutely incredible and immediately became infatuated with learning more. The problem - I was completely shut-down by my would-be mentor. Instead of welcoming me and encouraging me, I got an autograph and embarrassment instead. This fueled me to find my own way. Before youtube and before everything was easily search online, we had to talk to people and make our own discoveries. I pooled my resources and worked with my close friends to develop myself and become the entertainer I am today. It was a long road but worth it. The moral of my story - keep pushing for your dreams or no one else will. REMEMBER - register to receive your free copy of my e-book - Confidence On Stage: Navigating the 3 Levels of Stage Fright.
