Recently, he was having a visiting party at his place in Oregon, Salem to Shorter Buddy, the new album, and invited me and my family to come out. So we did. But we were gonna stay in a hotel. He offered to have us stay at his place, and we were like, no, we'll stay at a hotel.
It's all good and everything. The night of the listing party, we show up at his house. It was huge cat crib. And me on this, like, palace of status.
I'm like, well, shit, if I didn't know he was living like this. And meh, we stayed here anyway. Just a little testament to how dude is, man. He's a real yo, Loki cat and good dude overall.
But yeah, that's my Braille tail. Yo, yo, this is speech. And he is my bro, Pale. The first time I met this cat, I think we were in LA or somewhere on the west coast and we were performing, Me and my man Mike and BR came up to me, very humbly, very cool.
And just talking about his records and the fact that he was a hip hop artist. And he was really complimentary of me and just Arrested Development and everything that we've done. And it was cool, cuz, you know, I could tell Cat was really energized and just believed in what he was doing. At the same time, I get a lot of people come up to me every time I go to public performances.
And most of the time the music is really like. So he gave me a CD and, you know, I kept it in my bag. I told him I listened to it and like, usually I do. And I got home and the I wasn't expecting much.
And I put in his CD and I was freaking blown away because it was so real and so fantastically boom Baptist. And it was just incredible hip hop. It took me back to why I loved hip hop in the first place. And so I called Braille up and I just gave him more praise.
And I felt when I heard that TV and I told his manager as well, I was like, yo, that's sick. I love the record. It's a classic. And so then I've had 100 friends hanging out.
