It's Mel's time to shine as we (Sam and I) indulge her with the other movie she has been wanting to do since the beginning - 1990's The Witches. Based on the Roald Dahl book, and about to be remade with Anne Hathaway in the lead role, this is a bizarre product that claims to be for kids but then spends most of its running time determined to terrify any children that may be watching it. Is this remake worthy? Is it oddly sexual for a kid's film? Are mice as terrifying as this movie purports? All great questions and all are answered here!
