Episode 38 - Ultimate Accountability
from PFH Podcast Hosted by Good Fun Media
On this emergency "After Dark" edition of the PFH Podcast, we reckon with the announcement that Steve Yzerman is no longer the man in charge of the Detroit Red Wings. After 7 seasons with the team, the Red Wings announced that a search for the next GM is underway, and that Yzerman is going to be moving into an advisor role to Chris Ilitch. We reflect on those 7 years, especially the events of the offseason leading up to this. We also remark upon the timing, and how we are left to speculate reasons for the decision and its timing. Finally, we cover some of the emotions and some of the worst takes seen on the internet in the immediate aftermath. 'Tis a monumental day in Hockeytown. Thanks for listening!
