We went a whole fucking hour talking. It was a good episode because we know we've been gone for a while. But my fucking computer crashed. It was actually really good content, see?
Yeah, we'll go over it again, but we're back. Thankfully, I'm so mad. Honestly, we have to do it. It's gonna be alright.
Obviously, we're not gonna recreate the same magic, but... I mean, I will, you can, but... I'm a priority. No, okay, so it's been a month since our last episode.
I believe it's literally been a whole month. And in that last episode... I mean, I wasn't working at the time. Yeah, and also, that episode wasn't that good either, because we had nothing to talk about.
That was really rough. We were going through some rough times, and you weren't fucking working, because you hadn't started at my place yet, because they took forever. But finally, we're in the month of July, and Chris literally just started the beginning of July. So, this is why we've been so busy.
So he started July 1st. July 1st. So, July 1st, I started then, obviously, 4th of July. Right.
That was 4th of July week. And then you took a trip, like, the following week? The week after the following week. Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, so that's why we're so busy. And then, there's so much happening. Awwww! Guys, we're like really upset that we're gonna have to re-reel up.
It's cool. It's cool. So now, you're finally working. At my place.

It's very much different from anything I've ever done, just because it's a lot of technical know-how, in a sense. And anything that I had to do with AV has always been like a home theater just like super casual personal stuff. Yeah, nothing for like professional. No for sure.

I feel more stressed out what just cuz like I feel like You're gonna be like, you know, I guess you're not like supervising me But like I know you're gonna like look into like how I'm doing and stuff.

Yeah, so like this I from the like the working mistakes whenever you start a new job, you know Yeah, of course, but you're learning it's learning you've been working there for like a month now And like it kind of sucks though because there's a week where you technically weren't doing your job because we're going through a weird Transition, but yeah, that was a little weird. Wow.
Why are we so hot? Which is funny because on to the last recording I know it's hello. Yeah, like it looks like the audio cut. Yeah, I don't know But anyways, yeah, so that so you're working now.

Yeah, it's a it's definitely more of interesting Being able like Like troubleshooting everything because it no like you know, it's the same thing It's kind of not the same thing it is interesting Like I'll tell you like when I first started that job as well in that position that you're currently in like same thing I didn't honestly I had like no real a b professional experience wise like it was basic stuff like yeah plugging in a computer screen to your fucking computer motherboard right or you know whatever that's it and so I don't know why I got picked No, but so when I first started dropped to I was like learning obviously I'm like oh, this is all new stuff But it is pretty basic stuff and like once you get the hang of it It's like very interesting because I use that knowledge like pretty much anywhere now Yeah, yeah, like no like even when it comes to like simple stuff like not like non-av stuff like if it comes to stuff with like Relationship wise like why is this person mad at me? Okay?
Let's figure out the steps here Let's start with the first step like what did I do? Did I say something wrong and I go on to the next step like if I said something wrong then what was it? You know like going down the steps of like how to troubleshoot like I'm using those troubleshooting like yeah knowledge and like real life It's like crazy no for sure like that's one thing to you I do like about the job it does help you with your like troubleshooting ability because like it definitely forces you to go step by step Yeah, it's sort of like think critically. Yeah, so it's pretty cool Yeah, not a great team of people like I mentioned earlier, but yeah, it's just like I like kissing their asses bro Yeah, just left field terms of like profession and everything like that Yeah, but yeah, I think with most things though if you like do it enough or if you get like repeated exposure like definitely Pick things up so yeah for sure And then but you took a trip to Hawaii though.
I did a couple weeks later, right? Yeah, so two weeks after you started Yeah, I had a trip so this is why we're so busy So obviously you started life first and like we said it was worth a July weekend so we couldn't record that weekend because you know So yeah, we're not gonna fucking record Friday off and then the following Friday was My sister came up because we were leaving for Hawaii that coming Tuesday So she came up and you know spending time with her and the kids So that's why we couldn't record that Friday and then obviously the Friday after that I was in Hawaii Yeah, so how was that really busy? Our flight was at like 7 a.m. Yeah, so you guys like landed like local time So we left at 7 a.m.
And then I think we arrived around like nine ish nine in the morning over there It's a five-hour flight though. So it's like it's like weird. It's like you left at 7 a.m. We got there at 9 That's only two hours Kyle because there are three hours behind.
I think about that stuff Crazy it's like a time travel bro. Yeah, and then when I came back it went forward in time. Yeah time travel is real Yeah, so that was that was fun. How's your how's the flight over like even though it's like a five-hour flight I'm sure it wasn't like super tiring but yeah, no active like flying to a place is always tiring though No, it's still the we took Hawaiian Airlines.
It's not sponsored at all, but we took Hawaiian Airlines It was a nice airline never won that before obviously for some Hawaii I believe they went to Hawaii right? But so yeah, it was nice was a nice plane pretty spacious in terms of like the seat Why's you know how most planes are kind of like cramped? Yeah, it was pretty spacious. They served some pretty good food I mean only one meal like the breakfast, but it was pretty good.
It wasn't bad They had it free in flight movies which kind of suck though because no so we had a dad Oh, you had a they had no TV screens on the plane or anything I said I had to download the app on your phone and like just use your mobile device or whatever Oh, yeah, but the thing that sucked though. It was really shitty It was like it worked on my sister and brother lost phone. Well my shit wouldn't play So how about like so our seats were they had their own like side of the plane right now on the other side And I was like looking over my left seeing them like both watch their movies and I'm just like laughing and enjoying themselves Yeah, you know like enjoying themselves in this fucking five hour flight. I look back on my fucking phone still fucking buffering and shit I'm just like what the fuck and like literally the other passengers to like there's a girl sings me in the same Rose me like to my right and then she was cute.
She was married though. Oh, she was hella cute That's like yeah, it's rough. No, but I think I had her brother or the husband someone was like in the road Hey, whatever what you about right? Someone in the road before I was also like there was a working to they could ask each other a sure thing No, yours like no, and then I was like yeah, I'm not working either.
I didn't talk to her Never made it but So the guy asked our flight attendant like hey like and like there's other people to around like I sort of got Like my sister's mother was working. I was working. So the flight like this shit wasn't working So like what was stupid the guy the flight I said oh, yeah So for whatever reason like with the newer phones like if you didn't update it to the latest version like our app won't work Like some things certain things in the free entertainment section over at won't work So he's like literally telling like the only things that will work if you scroll all the way down There's like documentaries of like Hawaii and shit or like informers like that stuff will work And the else whoa, I was like listening into the guy and I was like sitting I'm like really full like really I just listen to music the whole flight. Yeah, but on the way back though So I took southwest on the way back and say thing headed down with the app.
They had free movies I'll be able to work then so I was able to watch some movies So I watch how to train dragon three. Oh good. Yeah, it was good movie. Yeah, yeah Right a little bit no this same age from previous But that's when there's the white the white dragon.
Yeah, that's pretty good I liked it and then I watched half of the movie tag With Jeremy Ryder. Yeah. Yeah. That was pretty good.

Oh, when you got to worry like you like oh, yeah So Sorry my mic just fell on me I'm happy, but anyways Yeah, so we I left for Hawaii Tuesday morning and then I came back late Friday night So I was only there literally for like four days and the reason why I could say that longer But the reason why is because like that following Saturday there was like a huge surprise party that we had throw for uncles being thrown at my house I didn't want a mom to like go through that shit by herself. So like I want to come back Anyway, also I was like what I thought you come back should say it. Yeah should say but anyways, we'll talk about later But yeah, so I was there for four days Literally when we landed since we got there hell early and like I think they weren't sure like my brother Mom's sister weren't sure if the place that we got there being people's ready yet we like went to Costco and like target over there and They got like the essentials they say longer than I did like they got essentials for the house or for the place and then We think we ate lunch at this place called the kitchen hell a bomb ass place dude Like it was on a guy for his diner driving the dive So yeah, so it's a pretty famous place and like literally if you're not there like at 11 a.m Or like even before cuz like we got there probably like 20 maybe 10 minutes before they open There's already like people lining up so like if you're not there in line and like get a seat after that You're pretty much waiting like two to three hours. Yeah for like in a place.
You know Yeah, it's like Yeah, so um there mainly I think what they're mainly famous for though is like a local moco Which is basically like a beef patty over rice and like has a fried egg on top and like covered in gravy and shit Mmm. I had a this thing there local moco called chicken katsu locomoco So it was like the beef patty and chicken katsu because I was good It was fucking delicious, bro. Hell yeah, and then my brother and sister my brother and sister got a this one called the notorious B. I.
G. or notorious local moco. Oh what I think anyways, but there's like spam bacon sausage and the beef patty Yeah, the fried egg and like fucking gravy. I was hella good dude.

I don't know which one is like more for tourists and shit So they're like hell of things to do there touristy wise whereas Maui's like more relaxed It's like easier for them especially for the kids. Yeah, so that's why they like going there So like literally we just went to beaches and like fucking eight a lot. Yeah. Yeah our beach dude like right across from our resort though Like the water was fucking hot like was it just warm or was it like hot?
It was hot, bro I mean, it's probably just warm and like it was hot in general It was really hot over there like I tell this people or I tell this to people all the time To like when I got back when they asked me how was I was like it was really hot like we're expecting bro It's a tropical island like fucking my first time at oh no Like I figured because they're you know like they're by the beach Yeah, but clearly I was wrong That's not unreasonable. It's a fair assessment right like like the water would be cold or something Yeah, no that for whatever reason our spot hot even the pool at the resort was too fucking hot So I mean yeah, we went to the beach first right and then like our beach for our customer resort and then like that water was hot So we're like in there for a bit and we went back, you know rinsed off the sand and we're gonna go in the pool So like so excited. Oh cool. I get to cool off and pull whatever right and then we jump in I'm like fuck is this a jacuzzi?
It was it was hot bro? Do you do pools like like can you like cool cool cool? I mean you can do heat up a pool right? Yeah pool heaters I'm assuming I feel like you could like possible But then I just throw in ice in there Just just go your level 711.

Well cuz so they're like condos And then they just rent them out to be like some people actually live in there and then others rent out their condo because it was an Airbnb Yeah, kind of thing so like some people rent out their condo to the tourists So that's what it was yeah, it was nice though. So like fuck so like we're like stressing out like well I told like the aunt that was playing the party was no it's not for him It's for only these people like well I told his kids so the fuck cuz she literally only got banners for like her husband who was like the main person and then like the uncle and Then the uncle and his wife and like they're huge banners like fucking hella Stravagan like hella pretty and stuff and she got it from the Philippines So she was like I don't like it ordered another one for the Philippines because it might not arrive So like fuck all right fine forget it. Yeah, sucks So, but yeah, essentially I got put off on the freeway And when it happened I got pushed into like a left lane and I bounced off a pickup truck and then I kind of bounced Into a box truck in my right lane.
Oh shit So so you're you said you're in the middle lane, right? Yeah, okay, and then the truck to the left of you was like kind of going a little bit faster than you know He was about to pass me. There wasn't a whole car link there like he his hood was definitely past me though for sure Right, right. Oh, and then the box truck on your right was like same thing like yeah Like the whole like slightly behind both of them.
Yeah, the box was up ahead less than a car link away And then the dumbass was like try he was what in the far right lane also like behind a box truck too and like was trying to get into your Lane yeah, so what I vaguely remember him coming from the far left lane and then just like kind of you know Like one of these like when you saw him coming If you're saying he was a big lady like right I can't really say for sure just because like what happened it happened also quickly right so like So he was just trying to get into your lane thinking he had space but clearly he didn't yeah He's going at least 75 right and then so when he did that he hit you like the front right of your car Yeah, and he actually like he actually pushed me into the left lane right and then when he got enough room He just took off Wow So no, it's a black car. Yeah, if you guys see a black car So when it happened when he like cut me off and crash like cause the accident glasses came off Oh, okay, I've been ponged between the two cars right yeah Like at that point like so just three of you that were in the accident Yeah, and then the other because you're in the middle lane So like did you like stop in the middle like what like no so if like because my glasses were off and like it all just happened I feel like I was slicing the right lane in the middle lane. Okay, and like I was just able to pull off Onto the car was still movable at the time. Yeah, okay It was like barely movable because like my bumper was like all the way coming off like like rattling against the concrete or Yeah, and then like my hood was like pushed up right yeah So it's a pretty pretty bad accident.
I would say yeah Do because this happened like two days ago literally two days ago and like you called me like as soon as it happened And I'm like I'm like pretty much getting ready for lunch at work And we had ordered pizza and our co-worker asked me to like help her bring it in right? So like we literally just picked up the pizza or like we got it because we got it off And she like grabbed it initially because you started calling me so like oh shit So I picked up my phone I was supposed to help her totally didn't help her sorry, but yeah So like talking to you and you're just like well, I just got a car accident. I could tell you're like shook it up I was like what are you okay? Yeah, I think so, but I'm not gonna make it work.
I was like okay Did you call out right here like no? I Can't make it work today Like hang on like what you doing? Yeah Like And yeah, no one was hurt right no no I mean the guy in the pickup truck really kind of banged up Yeah, the box truck was okay because he's in the box truck Yeah, but yeah, so like how was the guy's the the truck's damage was it pretty bad or what? Oh, yeah, they were dancing quite well.

What about your insurance wise like yeah, so they deemed it like it wasn't my fault Oh, they did yeah, okay, that's good So then they gave me a settlement offer right I just need to clarify if I need like pay that back at a later time or if it's Because like what I go left on my cars like 12 5 maybe a thousand yeah Something offer if I'm thinking correctly is like 60,000 okay, so like I'm assuming that's them paying me to pay off the car I'm like that leaves about like what for roughly yeah about four left over so I don't know if that's something I need to get back to them or if that's gonna be easier like I don't know how insurance works, bro I don't know how insurance works in general. Yeah, it's like I got health insurance So you know I'm assuming things are covered but I go in and like I said I pay for shit But I'm paying for the health insurance. It's like what am I paying for yeah?
