Episode 382: “So, You SAY You Love Satan?” Part 3 of Spooktacular 2022 This week Host Dave Bledsoe has the strangest feeling he is not alone in his bed, only to wake up and realized he isn’t in his bed but has passed out on the bar (Again) On the show this week Spooktacular 2022 continues with Richard Ramirez, the Night Stalker and how he said he loved Satan. (Satan never thought much of Richie) Along the way we learn how military unit nicknames could be somewhere better thought out. (A lot of “bastards” out there) Then we dive right into the story of Ricardo Leyva Muñoz Ramirez. (Though his friends and family just called him Richie, the little thieving asshole.) We take a short tour about what made Richie so very Richie (Dysfunction, drugs and war) and how that created one of the most sadistic serial killers in American history. (Which is saying something when you look at the competition.) Because this is NOT a true crime podcast, we do NOT go into the gory details because even for us, they are a bit much. Instead we talk about Richie’s relationship with the Dark Lord Satan and how it was a bit one sided. (The Devil repeatedly claimed “not to even know the guy!”) Then we wrap up by explaining that Richie was no more a Satanist than the Pope. (Who, well, you know!)
