As a Bravo stan and a Black woman, I am legally obligated to introduce you to my good friend, Kaya Wilson of the Bravo! We’re Black podcast! Kaya and I became fast friends over our love of Bravo and our need to have a more nuanced conversation about race and culture while we watch our trashy TV. Even though it is inherently trashy, reality TV can give us a clear glimpse of where we are as a society, and Kaya just gets that.Kaya is one half of Bravo While Black and the Bravo We’re Black podcast that she shares with her best friend, Aaron. Long-winded and making everything a joke as her coping mechanism, she and Aaron have started to take on the influencer industry in ways unknown after bursting onto the scene in 2022 - support or no support, we do it for the people who look like us. Kaya and her co-host Arron first launched the podcast in the middle of lockdown, trying to find something to look forward to in those dark times.
