iHeart Media began firing hundreds of its employees over the last week in what some are calling a "bloodbath". It was in an effort to cut costs and invest more into technology like Artificial Intelligence. As a former radio personality and Program Director, I discuss the effect that this move and deregulation have on not only those that lost jobs, but on you as radio listeners.
