Episode 39 - Rodeo Clowns with Evan Salazar

Yeehaw, Gutter Gang! The boys are back with a new episode full of hot takes and big scoops from the comic world. We're also joined by Asheville-based cartoonist Evan Salazar, creator of small press bangers like Rodeo, Being A Stray Has Calloused My Paws, and Wimp Digest. We talked about his development of Rodeo as a one-person anthology, his different approaches and techniques for storytelling, and why he started making comics in the first place. As usual, we also answer listener questions to dig further into his twisted mind, including Salazar's unwavering love of fast food and literature. You can check out more of Evan's work at rodeocomics.com or follow him on Instagram @evan_saladbar. Questions? Comments? Suggestions? Email us at [email protected] and we'll read it on the next episode. In the meantime, give Gutter Boys a follow on Instagram and Twitter @gutterboyspod.
