Episode #391: Our Top 10 Films of 2021

from Spoilerpiece Theatre

We didn't get a chance to share our top 10 films from 2021 last week, so we're doing it this week! We each dig into our individual top 10 films from our 2021 Boston Online Film Critics Association Awards ballots, discussing the overlap between our lists, and the unique films that made our respective ballots. First up, is Dave (2:47), whose ballot includes a documentary, comedies, and dramas. He's followed by Evan (33:20), whose list includes dramas, comedies, and horror. After that is Megan (47:09), whose list includes horror, dramas, and one comedy. And in this week's Patreon exclusive audio, we decided to review a film with the number 10 in the title, 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU, starring Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger!

Looking for Love in All the Wrong Dust Jackets - A Romance Novel Podcast wrongdustjackets Looking for Love in All the Wrong Dust Jackets is a weekly romance novel podcast reviewing some of the best (and worst) romance stories out there.Hosted by Erin, Dani, and Liz - 3 college friends and ex-theatre kids that think filters are a waste of time and will let you know the good, bad, and otherwise. Explicit Sunday Night Supper Critical Point Theatre A group of friends, acquaintances, and strangers gather to cook a meal and share true stories based around a theme. Explicit The Tino Orsini Show Agostino Orsini An entertaining chat show about the arts in London with special guests and film/theatre reviews and news. Explicit Breaking a Leg Oliver Double On 6th December 2015 at 7.30pm at the Gulbenkian Theatre Canterbury, I'm going to be performing a brand new full-length stand-up comedy show called Break a Leg, about the experiences I've had this year recovering from a broken femur. There'll be no previews, so I'll be finding out whether the material works at the same time as the audience does. If I crash and burn, it'll be a long night for everybody. I thought it might be quite interesting to make a podcast about the process I'm going through to make the show while I'm doing it. The podcast will conclude with recordings of the actual show. What will that be like? Nobody knows! Maybe there'll even be a twist ending. If you want to come and see the show live, you can get tickets here: http://www.thegulbenkian.co.uk/events/theatre/2015/December/2015-12-06-oliver-double.html Explicit
