There is such a lack of truth in our own nation today, we don't want to call things what they are. We don't want to call sin by its proper name, people don't have sins any more, they have problems. Why should we be under the burden to come along and dress up their filthiness? We are not willing to deal with the ugliness of sin so we cover it up. Israel, like us, said we don't want a true shepherd. We want a false shepherd because false shepherds will let us be what we are. False shepherds will never call us to truth.
