from Defining Disney Podcast Hosted by Defining Disney
Fly with us to Neverland as we tackle Peter Pan, a film in the canon that has left its fingerprints all over Disney history. We'll discuss its ups and downs, and why some of it is a product of its time, and perhaps why it didn't have to be. Don't miss: The way this movie brings a magical fantasy world to life (and still somehow manages to bring some of the worst parts of reality into it) How the soundtrack evokes old Hollywood, from its composer to its talent A discussion of the unusual character development this film brings to the table, from a sympathetic villain sidekick to some sudden growth for minor characters Our final score for the film, which is somehow the highest for the Silver Age so far PLUS, we talk through all the thoughts our audience had when they watched the movie, including some of our friends from #ddpwatchnight on Twitter!
