Episode 4: A Great Light in the Darkness

In our final Advent episode, Pastor Casey wraps up the series with warmth, humor, and a powerful reminder of the hope Christmas brings. He invites us to consider: What new thing are you longing for this Christmas? Even in seasons of stress, questions, or pain, we carry the promise that God is faithful, God is near, and God is doing something new. Drawing from Isaiah’s words, “the people who walked in darkness have seen a great light”, Pastor Casey reminds us that the light doesn’t erase the darkness, but it transforms how we move through it. Just as people in Jesus’ time longed for peace and restoration, we, too, can cling to the truth that Christ has come, and His light still breaks into our world today.
