An Oontz of Soul – 2.4.2011 OONTZ is a term often used to describe electronic music with the steady 4/4 backbeat driven by a kick drum and high-hat. SOUL is a term that refers to a genre of music similar to funk. It is similar to R&B but has more emphasis on vocals. It is very rhythmic and energetic. A slight departure from the mixes I’ve done before, combining my appreciation for euro-pop, dance, and soul. This may be my favorite mix thus far.
