He was educated in the Detroit Public School System, and his undergraduate work was at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI.    Mayberry completed both his doctorate in Family Therapy and Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Amridge University in Montgomery, AL. Mayberry prides himself on his ability to connect with diverse groups of people. A helper by nature, his passion and desire is to make people better.   He is a published author, and his first book was released in November 2015, entitled "The Sincere Milk of the Word." His second solo effort is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2024 and is entitled "The One True Church."   Dr. Mayberry is the senior pastor of the Allen Park Church of Christ in Allen Park, MI.
