Cory shares his harrowing 20-year battle with drug addiction, beginning at age 12 and culminating in homelessness, prison, and failed attempts at rehab. Cory recounts a powerful experience of literally being brought to his knees crying out for Jesus. Cory wanted to be free but had subsequent setbacks. Sometimes freedom is a process, but God never gives up on us. Cory eventually found freedom through his faith in Christ with prison reform and God's divine intervention and rescue. Today, Cory is married, a business owner, and an active minister to addicts, spreading hope and support through his ministry, Ditch to Destiny. He emphasizes the importance of unwavering love from family members and continuous prayer for those battling addiction.
