Episode 4: Check Your Feelings of Inadequacy at the Door

from The Lion's Garden · host Annie Peguero

Today on The Freedom Core Podcast we're talking about a topic that is near and dear to my heart because it's something that I have been practicing for years and years now… Checking your feelings of inadequacy at the door I have a lot I want to share here and some deep personal stuff I might get choked up - so let's just dig right in shall we… This is a hard topic because none of us like to think that we actually have feelings of inadequacy and we certainly don't like to admit it out loud let alone have an open discussion about it. I definitely had closet feelings of inadequacy for years. My story is one of out right crazy behaviour and denial - then realization- then deep hard work- then action then gratitude and sharing to help others. Feelings of inadequacy present themselves in many ways and mine presented in binge drinking, aggressive behavior,  anger problems, isolation and choosing to spend my time with people who...well...didn't bring out the best in me. I felt less than. And I'm going to show you exactly what I've done to overcome these feelings and replace them with positive self talk and empowered energy!
