Welcome back to Talking Nonsense, I'm your host Kyle, and I'm here with Christopher. And today's episode we're going to be talking about driving, because I have a lot to say on that topic. Specifically commuting and traffic and dumb idiots who don't know how to drive, but we'll get to that. I did want to talk about the gas prices right now, man.

Yeah. They're highest fuck right now. I filled out my tank just the other day, and usually I would spend like around maybe less than 40 bucks or full tank. Yeah.

Like before, right? But now dude, it's like almost 50 bucks. Literally I spent like $49 for a whole tank. Donald Trump or just getting help you were going to come in on that part.

I mean, like what? Like, I'm no what is it? Economists? Yeah, economists.

Right? I'll try to think that we have to know economists for anything. I don't know the reasons why they raised it, but I mean, I kind of have a theory why. Yeah.

I wanted to know if you... I mean, as far as I know, when Bush was President Bush Jr. Like, and there was a whole like Iraq war and everything like that or something. I don't know if it was Iraq war, but some sort of war that we're involved in, which is really convoluted in some sense.

But I know during that time gas prices was really high just because the military was like, Oh, we need the fucking gas. But as far as now, they're like, I think it's just hitting the fan maybe. I don't know. My theory is, and it's been this way for quite a while, like when I noticed the gas prices going up, I think it's like a ploy to get people to drive less to kind of decrease the pollution.

You know what I mean? Like, just ploy though. Like, I don't know. You know, I don't know.

Illuminati. I don't know. Somebody's ploy. No, like seriously though, if you think about it, if you raise the gas prices, right?

People are going to carpool more or just try to or take pull transportation, which honestly doesn't help the environment so much. But it decreases the amount of gas used per person. Yeah. So that's just how I think.

You know, I think they're raising the gas prices so that we're like, but that I'm a carpool or I'm a bike or by electric and then consumer's energy. I mean, I think that's a more positive outlook as to why gas prices are in reality. Just like, no, we just want more. Yeah.

I was going to say like, I think at least all the pessimists or all the negative people would be like, no, it's just some rich asshole wanting more money because they can't or something with inflation because our economy sucks or whatever. Yeah. I'm sure they're like tangible reasons why. Yeah, for sure.

So the average consumer and by average, I mean, like young people are in our age gap. It's just like, well, why is it's so expensive? And like, it goes along with the whole everything's so expensive nowadays, like rent, you know, and everyone's being like, oh, I want to get a better job. You went to college.

Yeah, I went to college, but I also have like a trillion dollars in debt that I hope, you know, and it's just like, it's a vicious cycle. I mean, like there's no as far as I know, like, it's just, I don't see it like ever ending. Right. Well, I was looking at some old home videos that my dad took a long time ago and there's a shot of them driving down some street and he looks at a gas station in the video.

He doesn't look at it. It's just in the shot and you see the gas prices as a shell. You know, only less than a dollar a gallon. It's so cozy, dude.

I know. I was just like, dang imagine if you'll still like that now. You know, I mean, road trips. I thought like with that extra money road trips for days, though, right?

Man, even like it just goes to show like I remember when my parents would tell me about this is so random milk. My mom would tell me like milk was less than a dollar. Yeah, I was like, dang, dude. I was like, what like $4 now?

Yeah, like a gallon. Yeah, crazy. Yeah. You think milk would be cheap though, just because there's quite cows.

I don't know that that's not our topic for today. I'm not talking about talking. Let's steer back into driving. Right.

Good. So I make a you. We stupid. Oh, man, it's so off today.

Like, no for the driving buttons. Yeah. Do you think like gas prices is it more expensive for you because you commute more? Well, yeah.

I'm not feeling the bite as much as you are. Yeah, you fucking lucky ass. You live right next to your job. You could literally walk to work where you live.

Like you should, honestly, just to say gas and get exercise. Yeah, I should buy a bicycle. That or that or that bicycle. I mean, you've always said you were going to get one.

Yeah, I don't know why I haven't yet. You're lazy. That also, I don't know how to put a bike together. It's not that hard.

They come with instructions, bro. Yeah, you're right. I mean, if I could put together a computer, I should put together a bike, right? Yeah, exactly.

Not like less than a mile from your work. Yeah, it's like a mile. Poop. Yeah, both ways.

Like together. Together. It's a mile. Whereas I'm driving like 47 miles one way.

Jesus. So like both ways, it's 94 miles. Yeah. And I do that five times out of the week.

So just I'm using at least over 300 miles. Do you get stuck in traffic a lot when you go there or is it coming back? For me, because of my scheduling because I'm night shift. So I work from two to 11.

But in our area, traffic usually only happens in the morning from 6 a.m. to at least eight. And then again, on the way back, it's from. Five to eight p.m.

So I'm not hitting the traffic at all, which is nice. Right. Because I. Yeah, I fucking hate traffic.

Do you do you lose more gas if you're stuck in traffic? I believe so because I was like, yeah, because you know, well, one, if you're driving super fast, that burns. Luigi, sorry. That was my dog.

If you guys heard that, I don't know if he's okay though. Yeah, he's okay though. Anyways, because obviously he drives super fast. If you're going like 100 miles per hour, you're burning gas.

Right. But another big gas burner is stopping and going. Yeah. Every time you stop your car and you started up, start, start, stop.

Takes a lot of gas. Supposedly. At least that's what I've read. That's what I heard.

Yeah. So obviously when you're in traffic, because especially if it's stopping go traffic, you're burning hell gas. Yeah, because essentially your car is on for a longer period of time to make sense. Yeah, because you're not getting home in the actual time.

You should be staying in it longer. So your car is on longer, burning more gas or especially right now. Since it's summer, a lot of people are using their AC that takes up a lot of gas. I don't like hard for sure.

I'm blasting that shit like. Or you're like four and five. Yeah, I'm like on the last setting is hot as hell. It is so hot.

Yeah, so I'm blasting that shit and I drive fast, I don't drive super fast, but I drive faster than this. Needle in it for sure. Yeah. So I think that's why too.

I'm filling up at least once every week and do so four times out of the month. Yeah, I feel like once a month. That's it. So today's yesterday.

Shit. Yeah. So yeah, I mean, have you ever since you didn't use the work at Walmart? That was a couple miles.

That was a sort of farther commute. Yeah. Well, it was a farther commute. But it's not like 47 miles away from where you live.

Yeah, that one was pretty bad only because right where that exit is to go to Tracy. For some reason, there's always one guy who always like goops it up like right at that exit. Even though it's the same. It's never changed.

But there's always that one guy who goofs it up. At least when I drive, if I know my exit's coming up soon and it's looking like dense traffic, I'll just go and move over to the lane where I know I'll be exiting anyway. I think at least a lot of people that way have accidents. People who don't have common sense, at least when they're driving who think they can make that exit, they speed down and last man just turn on the blinker and move over.

I think people like that that kind of bothers me just because it's like, you know, you need to take this exit. Yeah. You've had plenty of chances to get over safely yet. You chose to supposedly save time and put everyone around you in danger.

And be a goofball and then muck it up for everybody. So so that was causing the traffic when you went to your job. Yeah. And I'll remember a few times that having going down to was at the 11th Street exit and going around that way.

I've only done that a few times. Oh, just because I was always smart enough just to move over. Yeah. What about you though?

Since you go farther, I'm sure you see a lot more accidents on your. I don't see accidents like daily, like knowing that dumb enough to be crashing daily, but. I thought that highway day. I see idiots every day though, like people who do not know how to drive.

What's the what's the goofiest person you've seen on the road? Dumbest person. Yeah. I don't like to be insulting.

So fuck it. I don't care. I'm a cop. They're stupid.

Yeah. Like what's the most ignorant driver you've seen so far? I hate the ones that are in the fast lane, but they're driving like they're in the slow. I got my license way late compared to my cousin here for a bit of context for our listeners.

I'm so glad you kept saying that whenever I rode around with you because it's like now I know like. I told you. Yeah. I told you you're going to notice it and you're going to get annoyed and also for our listeners to whenever I would drive Chris here around.

I have road rage. I'll admit that. And when I'm driving behind a slow person, I would seriously cuss them out. Even though I know they can't hear me.

I'm like dude fucking move. Get out of the fucking way. Either speed up or get out of the fucking way and Chris here would always be like calm down. Maybe they don't know you're behind that or you know you always try to pick their side just like no.

Okay. Once you start driving and you notice this shit you're going to be just as bad. Yeah. I have developed a bit of road rage and I'm usually not in the fast lane.

Like I won't ever be in the fast lane. Yeah. Because I'm going to say right now you drive slow. I really do.

But I don't get it. So we'll get to that. I'll tell you why I don't get it. Go ahead.

There is a lot I don't want to drive in the fast lane as well because I know I drive slow. But at least I'm smart enough to know not to be in the fast lane where everyone's going to go zooming by. Yeah. The only time I'm ever in the fast lane is if I know I'm going pretty far and I'm not going to have to take an exit and like.

And plus you don't want to be stuck behind those in the slow lane. You're going slow. Yeah. So I'll only move over into that lane if I know I forgot a bit of a distance go and kind of like the situation allows for example when I was seeing you can bleep this out.

Whenever I was driving up to Elgrove. Yeah. I would go in the fast lane because I had time to go. I could be in the fast lane for a while.

I can always speed up. I wasn't going to take any exit scene or get off anytime soon. So yeah. What's the fastest you ever got on the freeway?

Yeah. Oh yeah. Like when I went to SAC. I was actually riding with Ethan Minda.

She took. I was already going like 80 like 85 driving. I was driving with you. Yeah.

She's driving with me is in the red car. She's like faster is like, OK. Yeah. So I hit like 95.

Yeah. I was like, yeah, this is the only move over. So just so I can slow down and catch my breath. Because here's what I don't get about why you drive slow because like you said when you're driving and are at was with you, you're already going 80, which is pretty fast, just kind of what I drive.

I usually go 80 or a little bit above on the freeway, not on the streets. I know street racer, which I was, but that's pretty fast in my opinion. And she's telling you to go faster, which is funny because within our line of family, all our answer is uncles on your mom's side, my mom's side because they're siblings. They drive fast as fuck and me and Jess call it the Garcia blood because they're literally, that's what it is.

Like everyone on that side of the family drives fast. My mom, she drives pretty fast. Jess's mom drives pretty fast. I was she telling you to go faster than 80.

She wants to go fast. Uncle Joe drives hell of fast. He drives fast and crazy. No offense.

But and it's just yeah. And it's just like me and Jess both drive fast and like we have you because it drive fast, which we don't understand because it should be in your blood. And the other thing too is you were taught by just his mom like how to drive. So we're just we're so shocked at like drive so slow.

It's it's because I've I've always developed the sense of like I'm very rule bound, if that makes sense. So like knowing the speed limit is like 80. I'll just do that because anything more than that it just it bugs me. I don't know why like I'm so confined to like rule.

You scared to get pulled over? Yeah, like I'm scared to get pulled over because it's like I always feel like I have a moment I break a it's like. But beyond that though, I've always kind of lived a very rule based lifestyle. In my mind, it's established as if I follow the rules, no one will have the need to talk to me because I hate talking to people, which is alright because I'm doing a podcast.

But yeah, I mean you're only talking to me. You're not talking to me. Yeah, I just I don't know that's I hate slow drivers. And I guess to it's I feel like I'm not confident with my driving ability.

You know, like if I'm going 80 and I need to move over, I feel like no one's gonna even if I turn my blinker on. I still feel like I'm gonna let me through. But see, well, let's say you're in the fast lane, right? Going 80.

Everyone else in the other lanes are going slower than you already. So even if you're going 80, you should be able to pass up and just just get over. You gotta be assertive when you're driving. Yes, that's why I struggle with is assertive when you're driving.

And with it though, I think it's because you know, you see those crazy accidents on YouTube or on the news and like being in one scares the show. I don't want to be the cause of it. Yeah, well, yeah, I'm not trying to tell you to drive like recklessly and speed, you know, speeding is bad regardless. But you don't have to drive so slow, you know, and I'm not saying you drive super slow, but slower than what you're used to.

Yeah, because I drive fast, but yeah, bit of context. I'm not doing like 50 on the highway. I'm going to speed limit. Yeah, which is fine.

But most of the people on the freeway, at least here in California, don't go to the speed limit. And it's like cops usually don't pull you over if you're going like more than 10 over the speed limit. It's usually if you're going more than 15 or 20, that's when they'll pull you over. Yeah.

So if the speed limit's like 70, you'll go like 85, which you'll be fine. Yeah, don't be going nine. You're a hundred. Obviously.

Yeah. Yeah. Don't do faster periods. Yeah.

But I mean, you got your license like you said a lot later than me or Jess. Yeah. You got it recently, like not even two years ago, right? Within two years ago, like a year and a half ago, I think.

Yeah. I can actually look at my license up. All right. No, it's cool.

It's not that serious. But so a bit of context for our viewers. Chris here was born here in America, but then during high school, move to the Philippines. No, during college.

Sorry, during college. Yeah. After high school. Yeah.

Move to the Philippines. Didn't drive at all. Right? You didn't drive in the Philippines at all.

No, just because there were no rules and I was like, fuck it. Yeah, because driving over there is a nickname. Dude, you have like balls of steel. You got to be really assertive there.

Yeah. You should have drove there. You should have been fine here. Yeah.

But you probably be more of a dick here too. Yeah. But you're like, fuck it. Well, think you're fucked that.

Yeah. But anyways, how did that work for you? Well, I did drive over there. Well, where I lived in the Philippines, I didn't live in a major city.

Like, I went to school in somewhat of a major city, but I never actually drove in that specific city. So there's these little town, like you have essentially one stretch of road between each town until you get to that major city and then you'll have like city blocks, right? So where I lived was right next to the highway. I could either go right or I could go left and be straight until you got to those little towns, even in those little towns.

There weren't like city blocks or anything. So I mean, it wasn't so like bad. Like, I didn't drive too far because one, like public transpose actually a fake, like it's very prominent over there. As opposed over here, it's like, you got to go bust out with the buzz.

And like, there's only certain routes it takes you on. Yeah, yeah. Over there, they kind of have, obviously, how bust is going each way, but within the towns and cities, you have like these things called pedicabs or tricycles or like motorcycles or anything like that. So like, you can just get around easily that way too as well.

So you didn't really need to drive too much? Yeah. Because of all that. Yeah.

So then when you came back here, you didn't have your license, obviously you didn't have your license or permit. Did you get a permit before you went to the Philippines? Yeah. I got my permit in Vegas.

Yeah. So I didn't have to go across town for anything. And then when I moved to the Philippines, I just had access. The essentials were there.

But I mean, you never thought of it. I bought my license on the Philippines. Oh. I don't have to take it to us.

No, I literally just put it on the phone and I feel this out. I was like, okay. And I'm filling it out. I got my picture and I got my license.

I think that's why it's bad over there. It is, dude. It's so bad. They're like, what's funny too is when I came back and you know how when you get a car insurance, they ask you if you have any driver's license experience and everything like that.

Usually what they'll do is like, if you have another license, the last car at the issue date, kind of to gauge how long you've been driving. When I went to the Philippines, I bought my license like in 2015. No, that's when I graduated. I'm like 2011 or 2012.

And they actually, my car insurance counted it. Like they thought I was driving from like 2012. So did that like make your car insurance cheaper or? Yeah, it made it cheaper.

It was like, truth is I've never drove. Yeah. I didn't want to admit that. I was like, sorry, I'm going to be a cheap bastard and save money this way.

You got to play the game, man. Let's play the game. But you never felt the need to like want to drive though. You didn't have your license at all.

You didn't want that freedom to just go wherever you wanted. Because you know how it was before, like when you didn't have your license and you wanted to go hang out with your friends, you had to tell your mom or dad, like, hey, can you drop me off? And then call them and everything's done. Hey, can you pick me up at the corner of, you know, like I had to do that.

You know what I mean? Like before I got my license, like if I wanted to hang out with my friends, I would tell my mom, can I go over there? She's like, yeah, let me drop you off. And then afterwards I'd call her and pick me up.

Even like to the mall too, I would always get dropped off at the mall. Oh my gosh, teeny bumper days, right? I would get dropped off at the mall. Huh, friends.

Just drop me off right here. Why, we went up the front. No! In general?

In general? No, I never wanted to just drive. You know what I mean? Nope.

Man, you, you spoiled lazy motherfucker. No, I think it's just because I'm a shut in. Oh, that guy's friends, right? I'm just kidding.

Like I'd like to. My left and my right. No, but, um, no. Like I just became an intro, like being an introvert, man, you just...

Hey, there's no need to drive. There's not. I mean, I'm not all introverts are like me. Yeah, but, you know, I'm assuming you asked me that because you felt that need.

Oh yeah, for sure. Well, because I had two other siblings that were driving already. Oh, granted, both of them were out of the house before I drove. Well, no.

My brother was still there because he graduated high school. Did your brother ever drive you around? No, that's a thing. No.

No. I don't remember. No, I don't think so because my parents told him he didn't have to because they were there. They were there.

And I actually had some friends in high school who already got there because I got my license after high school. I didn't get my license until college. Same here. Yeah, reason why I don't know.

Why? I mean, I do know. I'm not gonna say why. No, I'm just kidding.

It's not that. I just never got in high school for whatever reason. I think my parents didn't care too much. Plus, I didn't need it because the high school's right there.

I just walked to it. Yeah, I feel like in high school too. Even if I did get my license in high school, my parents would be like, no. You're not gonna go.

Yeah, you got your license, but I'm not giving you the car. Yeah, I get that too. Yeah, so. But yeah, I wanted, I was so ready to drive.

Okay, not so ready to drive. I wanted to drive, but I was so scared to drive. Yeah, you remember when I was trying to get my license? I was always like that.

Yeah. I would have dreams where I'm like driving, but every time I made a left turn, it'd be like so often I would either crash or be chased by the cops in my dream. Is that the kick where you wake up from inception? No, dude, seriously, I would have dreams like that.

I was so terrified to drive. Were they like super like lucid? Like could you really like? Yeah, it felt real.

Kind of. Kind of. I think it was just in my mind. I was like, yeah, I'm not ready to drive like for sure.

But I guess that brings me to my other topic, or talking point. The driver's license test. How was that for you? She got your recently.

It was good actually because a day before or two days before, you actually took me driving. Yeah, I took you on the route that they were gonna take you on. Yeah, and I went on that route. So I was like, oh, I got this.

I mean, I did make a few mistakes. Like I forgot if it's a broken yellow, you can like move over to the other lane and then pass. Yeah. Because of where the DMV was, you know how that there's like a dealership, like right above that.

So I'm fine. Right above it. You know what? Right above it.

And he next to it, yeah, like on top. Like right in front of me was the tow truck. But those trucks that have all the cars on it. Yeah, I was like, oh, we had to double broke and yell as I can pass it.

Yeah. But you didn't know I did. But I still got pointed for it. Because you took too long to get.

I took too long to drive. Your driving structure is probably like this fucking idiot. Fuck the Asian man. God damn it.

Obviously, you were nervous. Right for it. Did the lady go? Who'd you have?

Blonde lady. She's nice. The people who do the driver's test they're usually like rude and mean. I mean I thought she was okay Yeah, I thought I was okay, too She wasn't mean I thought I was awkward just cuz she didn't talk oh and I mean that makes sense like I'm taking a test I should be getting attention.

Yeah, what were you expecting? So you come here often? I mean, it's just like it was just I'm normally quiet though because you can't send a radio Yeah, and like I get it They're trying to one you're supposed to focus on the road and like you're talking its distraction But it just like it the test immediately began she's like okay do your head signals You know as soon as she came into your or soon she came out of the DMV saw you in your car She's like let's get to it. She pulled up she up me like what my name is Okay, and you know how you have the sticker in your dashboard or I don't know not sicker But like that yeah, or that indicates we were enough like she filled that out and just immediately start going through the exam I'm like oh all right.

No, no prep time. I can't wait my cheat sheet. Oh, obviously, but yeah So I mean I just thought I was kind of awkward she had her glasses on like her sunglasses But it wasn't like super bright. So it's like okay.

She's just trying to hide her poker. Yes for when you drive Yeah, and then as soon as I'm part okay, you know the job passed and it handed me the shit and walked out All right, that's cool. Yeah, why'd you pass? Yeah, me and Jess Robinson bang that you wouldn't dance?

That's fucked bro. Honestly. I would bet the same way though I was so happy though when I got my license only because whenever we go out to Applebee's I could stop bringing my fucking passport Yeah, I remember that oh man. Oh, so embarrassing just so you get a drink.

Yeah pull out your password cuz you had no idea Yeah, here is my passport I'm so buddy. Oh, I remember that but What do you call it? What's your driving test for my driving test? I had this lady.

This is your test right now. You're driving instructor No, this is the driver's list and says yeah, I was sitting in my car waiting for her right sitting there She could tell I was nervous. I'm like holding the steering wheel. Yeah, yeah, kind of shaking Just like really flexing like no not like just like you know just try to relax But I'll stiff you know she could tell us hello stiff.

Yeah, I was nervous. Yeah, all those dreams about crashing I mean that was gonna fail so she comes out. She sees me. She knocks on my window She's like hey honey.

You ready? I'm like, yeah, she's like are you nervous? I'm like a little bitch like that's okay Take your time to give you breast. You don't have to start right now So I was like oh shit this girl's dope so I was like I took my breasts and then she's like you ready?

I'm like yeah, did the little hand signals took the route I think I only had two or three mistakes. I don't know I think I had around the same one of them was not stopping in time Like at the stop sign. I guess I kind of stopped a little after the line supposedly I don't know. Yeah, I got one of those two.

Yeah, and I think the other one was I didn't look both ways at one time Or something like that look left makes right I just think I didn't like show that looked enough. I think I was like oh You know the driver instructors tell you really show that you're looking turn your head Over to get out of the car I Okay No, yeah, I mean I only had three mistakes I think the last one was a parking mistake. You know how at the end of the test you have the parking spot I think she only gave you a point off on that just because when I was turning into the parking spot I think I did too white-obeter which honestly I still kind of do now. Yeah There aren't designated parking spots for the test right you just parked there's yeah, okay.

Yeah, okay Yeah, I kind of cheated on that part what because you pulled up to where you exit You didn't pull up to a parking spot you just pulled up to the side where I parked was I parked where there was no other car So I had like I did two cars there, but it was a free open parking spot I just parked there Yeah I mean because you know how the building is there's the parking behind the building right yeah And then to the side of it is where you kind of start the test Yeah, so we had to pull all the way around back to the back kind of going towards the start point and then all those parking spaces Right there open she told me just apart there. Oh, she told me the part in the back like we came in Yeah, all the way in the back. Yeah behind behind the building. Yeah, that's all I'm saying okay You got well, yeah, we just talk about you passing it for sure.

Yeah, it took me a while you might permit Was it my permit here? Yeah, my permit here. Yeah, didn't you feel once? No Yes, yes, and no because you know how you can take it like three times Yeah, yeah, so I blew my first two try I went one time into the DMV and I shot two of my chances I got on my third try when you took me because you know at the end of the exam if you fail It's like you want to take it again.

Yeah, so it's like yeah, I did that twice So I technically did fail twice but only went in once and I got on my third try at least you didn't fail 17 times Dude, did she really fail 17 times on a permit or on the permit? Yeah I want to write with her no one Sorry, we about her name. Yeah, but yeah, she supposedly failed 17 times on the permit test yet I'm just gonna can fail. I mean there's only six versions of the tennis At some point you're gonna get the same question, right?

Exactly like someone do the math real quick Whoever's listening. Can you do the math of like you have six versions of one exam? Yeah, but anyways Do you know how much time she fell into ever since? No, I don't know to make you tell probably Yeah, I'll just throw it around to the bus, huh?

Geez, I can't talk because I yeah, you suck at driving. Yeah. Oh, no, honestly the stereotypes about Asian drivers I'm partially like that. You know, I feel like I am How we're all bad just that they suck at driving.

Yeah, yeah, like I mean, I'm not as bad as really Asian drivers like that Just make it make laughs and writes without blinkers and shit. Yeah, like I think my weakest thing is like parking Like, you know, I park far away from places where there's no one So I was I get out of everyone's way. I'm not that asshole who parks up front, you know, and takes forever to back out or Parkella Kirkhead, you know, like when I was when we were at the gym that dude there is like a diagonal parking But he barks like parallel to it. Yeah, like I don't do that shit.

It's like That just because it bothers my OCD. But you know what I mean? Yeah, so speaking of idiot drivers the other day when I was driving to work for whatever reason because like I said previously I usually don't hit traffic when going to work but for every reason on this day there was hella traffic, right? Did someone goop it on the freeway?

Yeah, well, I don't know what the traffic this is the other thing too Why I hate traffic so much is because most of the time it's just because there's so many people on the road Yeah, right and there's a lot of dumb people on the road who don't know how to speed up or move the fuck over it So they're just I move I'm going to get that we get that I say defend myself But so on that particular day so much traffic. I'm just like what the fuck there should be this much traffic right now I mean, I'm already like pissed because I'm like running 20 minutes late I'm just like fuck this shit. I decide like halfway to my work I decided exit and take the back road. Yeah, and as I'm exiting I looked to my left because I'm exiting already I looked to my left I see this fucking granted they're in the slow lane Which is fine because they're going slow But because there was already traffic ahead of them everyone else was going slow What I'm about to say was like pointless I've heard a new I looked to my left and I see her this bitch You're exiting?

Yeah, I looked to my left and I see this bitch and she's going on the main freeway, so she's on the freeway because I'm nice And she's just in the far right lane. Okay. Yeah. I look and this dumbass has like a huge ass gap Between her and the next car like at least seven cars deep.

What the fuck? Yeah, like you're one of the reasons why they're striving I Know the one thing I'll be like move the fuck Like I tell you would just all the time like I want to get a license plate that reads close the gap And just get in front of those people that leave huge ass gaps It's totally unnecessary like yes, you're supposed to have at least a car space Yeah, space and that's not where so people can merge into you That's actually so we can stop yeah time to stop but lately there's so many people that leave six or seven car spaces Like ahead of them. I'm just like why and they're in the best thing most of the time too I'm just like that's really ironic. I've noticed that too Yeah, and then also another thing that's pissing me off lately is well at least when I wasn't driving it You know and I would be passengers like my dad or my brother I would notice this a lot like most of the time the big rigs are in the slowing right like they're just kind of supposed to be I don't think it's like an actual law, but like it should be in the slow it makes sense for them to be in that Yeah, they go slow right yeah, but lately do a lot of them are like in the middle.

Yeah in the middle or the fact I hate that you do the fuck you doing bro like move over. I know it's a lot I think in Europe or Asia where big rigs are To be in the slow lane because of most likely they're gonna get off at some point Yeah, and it's just it's easier to give them sort of a dedicated lane for them to be in and then right I was kind of Can move over but I do want to say though about the whole like leaving a car lane One of my pet peeves when I drive is the most well being is in the middle lane and Obviously you have your big rigs to the right like everyone I was coming here I think we're gonna do this there's two big rigs and they leave like again like a car length open That's not for anyone to move into that's really like their time to stop because if you get caught in that you're fucking dead You're getting it squished. I swear to god coming here today I saw a fucking mini cooper move into that like a tiny room between two big rigs in the middle They're in the slow lane so Let's try to exit yeah like cuz I think yeah Matthew's road was coming up It was like right before Matthew's and he has just run exit Yeah, but it's just like dude like usually just gone over way beforehand like I don't know I'm one of those people that kind of get over last minute Just cuz I don't want to be in the slowly for so long because I know there's other cars are going slow I'm just like dude. I could have passed you already and then exited Yeah, I mean cuz I most of the time I know like my timing and my distance to my exit Like I know I'll have enough time especially cuz I drive ass like I know if I go this speed I'm gonna have enough time to pass all these cars and still make my exit Yeah, I mean so I'll be on one of those people that do that I'm not that big of a dick around just like driving hell of ass like oh shit That's what it was though with that mini cooper and like that's one of the reasons why I'm always in the middle Like slowly and it's cuz like my speed and stuff.

I'm not comfortable with just speeding up and then like trying to time it I'd rather move like one line over at a time and then tell them in the right lane Yeah, but obviously since you're on the road a lot more than I am other than that What are some other pet peeves that you have about drivers? I hate people who don't use their blinker and then who leave their blinker on because I've seen people leave their blinker on Are you talking about like if they're going the opposite direction like if they're left blinkers on and they just move to the right lane Is that what you mean because I've seen that a lot for some reason? Well, then that's just them leaving their left linker on Yeah, just leaving your blinker on and then you're not even moving over or yeah Or if you go the other side and then don't even put it or that side. Oh, yeah, you're fucking retarded.

Yeah, sorry You're fucking stupid I think you gave me a jump because I was driving the red car because I got off working the car with the star Who were coming home? I think we're coming home and then There's like there's like a no, it's a truck like one of those like triple eight trucks It goes car repair trucks who was making like turned yeah, they turn the right blinker on and they were at the light off the exit And he had his right blinker on but he never like took a right on the red Like he and we turn green made it left. Yeah, and I was going right because we were going home But I didn't pass him because he had his right blinker on so I waited yeah, yeah, and then yeah I'm going home. You're you're living you're living like I was telling like to the fucking big rig in front of you was Frigging retarded man.

You could have gone if you just turned his blinker off and yeah wait there I think the other thing about it too is just I'm very impatient I like do not have patience or time to just sit there and wait if you're not gonna move over or or I mean if you're not I'm just gonna assume that you're not moving over so I'm gonna go as fast as I can I ask you yeah, there are those people who don't use their blinker and then fucking cut you off and just like you I don't understand that like how hard is it like not hit that thing? Yes, I mean sometimes I don't do it either But here's the thing I only don't do it when I know that there's no car that needs a signal that I'm moving over it or the Cars hell of our behind like yeah, it's immediately behind you and you have room just like go yeah Yeah, I'm just gonna go but if someone's there and I'm gonna tell him like hey, bro Yeah, I gotta get over it But then there's those people that just don't use it and that pisses me off and then the other thing that makes me mad too Is when you're behind a slow car right and you're at least when I do it I try to tailgate them to make them go faster and be like dude speed up or move over But then they don't move over and like oh my god You fucking asshole so then you move over and try to pass him But then they start speeding up now and it's just like wow Yeah, wow you dig I'm an unrelated note. Well, it's not related I hate it when like you move over to like pass someone but then you're letting you move over to start slowing down and You just look like an idiot. Yeah, you look like I look like a asshole.

Yeah, I hate that too. That happens sometimes Yeah, it sucks because it's like oh my god, dude. I get to actually have seen other people do it though I guess I'm here like what a scrub right when I see someone like trying to tell me and I'm already going fast I see them till getting me. I'm just like dude relax.

We're going the same way like where you need to be right now I mean granted some people do have like emergencies. Yeah, but I'm just like dude Were you going like relax or going the same way? You know, I'm going fast enough already like you don't need to tell day my ass right and then they move over and then all of a sudden They slow down because they can't pass me because it that link slow. So I'm just like Flipping them off not really but in my mind.

It's like Exactly. Oh my god. There's this one time. I was driving home from work, right?

So tonight and I was behind this car that was in the fast lane and no cars in front of a huge ass gap Well, it's not fast lane I'm already going like 80 and I'm like on his ass So you could already tell by that point doing that or what not he's going by least 70 maybe even slower It's like dude move over and he never does so I like buying a decide to move over and I'm passing him And I think I had enough space I'm pretty sure I had enough space to get back in front of him So I do that and I guess he took it as like I cut him off for some shit, but I know I know I did it I believe I did it. I don't know. I did well. You're innocent in this I'm innocent I didn't I didn't do it.

I think I'm on so this asshole then all of a sudden hyping What the fuck turns his hypings on and leaves him on and then starts speeding up hell of acid and like starts tailgating me now And I'm just like bro like what the fuck you doing? I had enough questions Yeah, I get that situation if you're a break check him and he like hit you who's always it? Yeah Technically both yours, but it just all depends on the cop and how well you can tell the cop like I wasn't speeding I was breaking cuz I saw something and then he crashed yeah Well, I mean, okay, that makes yeah, it's not legal dude. You don't break check people You shouldn't do that shit.

Okay. No, I was just curious cuz like when I was getting my license and stuff I've read stories about people like break checking tailgaters. Yeah, and then I was I mean, it's not we can go back to your story Well, no, just to clarify break checking. I don't it's not a legal thing or it's not a illegal thing to do But it's dangerous to yeah, but it is something that a lot of people do do to tailgaters.

Yeah, cuz it's like given the bird Yeah, and I'm not gonna lie. I've done it a couple times You break check people yeah, cuz they're on my ass. I'm just like what are you doing? Yeah, I'm sure a lot of our listeners like Kyle if you're one of those people fucking move over then right you're just talking slow I'm telling you guys already going as fast as I think yeah, like if you're already going fast You can't speed up any more than that.

Yeah, you know, I run the rescue ticket just to satisfy some girls just to you know What's the word just to elaborate? No, not right explain. No, not explain As an example no Try to say I'm trying to say like it's not my fault or just to whatever I know I am okay, what were you talking about your story? So this guy starts to know not that before that right after that Yeah, and then fucking Tell you to move over ironic because People be like oh yeah, yeah, cuz I'm going slower.

Yeah, and you're breaking people okay in my defense That's the fucking word. I damn it Okay in my defense when people are tailgating me and I know I'm not going as fast as I probably should be going in the past Like I will move over okay, but if I'm already going super fast and you're gonna tailgating like that you could fucking move over and pass me I'll go fuck okay, cuz I'm not gonna move well. I guess I could do that I could just move over for you to move back. It's not that hard Kyle I know a lot of them are thinking that just like this fucking guy Punch out that's whatever that's me okay.

Yeah, you do you yeah, I'm gonna do me boo boo Back to my story. So yeah, so this dude's hiding me And he's like tailgating me for a long period of the time like from Tracy to like life room But our listeners who don't live here. They're like okay, and but that's a pretty long long. Yeah, it's a long travel time Yeah, he's like following me and I'm like as he's hiding me.

I'm like dude what the fuck so I move over to the middle lane But he does the exact same thing like he's just following me at this point Okay, what the fuck are you doing? That's right? We're just slowly and he does the same thing and still falling in like dude what the fuck so this whole time from Tracy later me I'm just going as fast as I can just trying to fucking lose this guy But he's like on my ass and then we get to from two or five to finally five right that Exchange like when you're going towards me to go or not towards me to go Like when you're pretty much leaving Tracy already and getting on to five yeah Towards like everything yeah at that point right I move over to the second to the fast lane Yeah, whatever and I get behind this big rig right not behind I get in front of this big rig and hit my brakes Like not hella hard by him. I break so that there's no room for him to get in and like literally the big rig like high beans Me like what the fuck are you doing right?

And then that you finally just backs off and like just goes I don't know where he went back my back off I'm just like this fucking idiot like I didn't cut you off you you're already going slow in the fast lane Yeah, you weren't moving for me So I had to pass you and then you're gonna go and fucking tell you the rest of the way just because you were going slow That's fucking yeah, I was pissed. I was like, do you think you're red rage? Would you ever get to a fight because of right? Right?

I was so scared when that dude was following me like oh I was like that's what was gonna happen That's what was afraid of I didn't want to exit yet I wanted to get rid of this guy before I exited because I thought he was gonna follow me and like just have words Yeah, and I'm like I'm patient. I don't want to do it. Nope. That's not me.

I also have to fucking try to get rid of him I did but yeah, no, I mean I would never like get into a fight over a fucking road rage. Honestly. That's just crazy man Splendid's I don't see like I can see like if someone like if you got into an accident and someone's being reckless and then if I Yeah, I happen that I can understand like and yeah again cut off sucks But I don't know I don't think that's like I think that's a little extreme if you if someone gets cut off and they follow that person to wherever They're going yeah justify. Don't like yeah, it's like how much rage do you have in your body?

I mean, but this is not actually speaking of speaking of that my roommate back in college She was telling me the story where Peter no not Peter He was telling me this one time he was driving on the freeway and I think he cut off a guy or he didn't cut him off He cut him off. What's that you cut him off? No, uh, yeah I think he cut off a guy the dude think the dude didn't get mad But like my friend was mad because the dude was already going slow So that's why he cut him off and my my roommate flips that guy off Oh, and then the dude starts following him like the whole way and then he's like time is like yeah He's like fucking following you the whole way like I exit he exits and like eventually I'm just like okay This will once the fucking fight fine whatever so they both pull off into a parking lot And then he tells you that dude gets out and then my roommate gets out He's like ready to like square up like he's ready to fight right but then the dude like comes out of the cars like I am so sorry We're going so slow like he just wanted to apologize Yeah, that's a really nice guy though. I know it's like yeah, I thought hell bad flippin off I was like damn like you just wanted to apologize.

Yeah, he followed me the whole way just to say sorry. Oh my damn I'm Canadian I don't know but yeah, that's a good way to end. You know we're gonna end it there. You can always do a part two Yeah, exactly.
