Episode 4: Empire or Kingdom

In this episode of the Etiquette for Dangerous Women podcast, Jaime reflects on the difference between two paradigms: empire worldview and kingdom worldview. The empire worldview is framed around scarcity, self-protection, self-promotion, and separation — a worldview where resources are limited and people must fend for themselves. In contrast, the kingdom worldview represents abundance, trust in God’s provision, interconnectedness, and sacrificial love.Jaime shares personal experiences of struggling with scarcity thinking — especially around time and resources — even while identifying as a Christian. She argues that living in the kingdom requires embracing one's true identity in Christ and trusting God's provision and timing, rather than trying to control outcomes.
