His first collection was shortlisted for the William Blake prize, his debut novel HOURGLASS was listed for the Desmond Elliott prize and his latest novel I SEE BUILDINGS FALL LIKE LIGHTNING has been published to widespread acclaim, nominated for the Gordon Burn Prize, and is currently in production as a major feature film ( adapt - Enda Walsh, Dir- Clio Barnard, prod - BBC ).
