Episode 4 Let's Talk About Toxic Relationships

Toxic Relationships. Have you had one, been in one or know someone that has?  I have, I haven't really thought about it in a loooonnggggg time. However, around 2:30 am this morning I was awoken with the recollection of what that was like, who I became the deeper I got in it, and with hindsight being 20/20 how I ended up there. I had a conversation about this today with a brilliant person I have in my life. You know when someone drops a one liner and it rocks your soul. That is what happened to me, as we were talking about toxic relationships they said, "yeah it is like that person (abuser) sees the real you, the one inside, that crappy you that you work hard to hide from others." Now I know we are made up of a whole lot of parts and for me, for what seems like a long time, that crappy one was running the show. And, then this person came along and saw that crappy part and it is true, I felt seen. If any of this resonates with you, I hope you get something out of today's episode.
