Episode 4 - Mike from Brooklyn

I met with Mike on the floor of his kids' bedroom in Brooklyn. He only had 45 minutes, but in that time he totally recalibrated how I understood forgiveness. This was one of the most important and moving conversations that I was afforded during the year-long project. The photo is of Mike holding an inscribed gift from his father, a book on Adlai E. STevenson's campaign speeches. Mike was 36 at the time of our interview, and lost his father when he was 29.
