Episode 4, Part 1 - Where Can I Go For Help? ft. Emma Potter from CMHA Edmonton
from UNAWA · host TAYO - Together in Achieving Youth Organizations
The pandemic has taken a toll on everyone’s mental health: likely for you too. When it comes to getting help, we might not even know where to go. In fact, we might not even know WHEN it’s time to get help. That’s why we’re talking to a couple of organizations to figure all this out. In part one, April chats with Emma Potter from the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Edmonton to find out what resources are available – including for Filipinos. Emma talks about who they are, their free services (with some available in other languages), and she offers some key advice for our mental health during these chaotic times. Sidenote: CMHA is a Canada-wide organization so there’s probably a local one near you: cmha.ca/find-your-cmha. Below are some numbers/links that Emma mentioned.
