Years of Service: 1976-2017Dale began his law enforcement career with the Boise Police Department in 1976. He started his career on patrol but eventually worked in specialized units including SWAT, the Special Victims Unit, the Vice Unit, the Repeat Offenders Unit, and the Narcotics Unit. Dale also served as a canine handler. Shortly after retiring from the Boise Police Department, Dale became the undersheriff for the Boise County Sheriff’s Office which is a county with a population of 7600 people and consists of 1900 square miles.
