Episode #4: What do I have in common with Nellie Oleson of "Little House on the Prairie?" Spoiled alert: We are both soft villains.

Hi. It's Josh.I grew up watching the television show “Little House on the Prairie,” the characters of Harriet Oleson and her daughter Nellie Oleson, the defacto heels of the town of Walnut Grove, were my favorites. The show was not comedic; it was a full of tragedy, one-hour drama, but when it was funny, the comic relief tended to come from these two characters, either directly or because of comeuppance played upon them.Characters discussed on this episode:Nellie: https://youtu.be/Ark2A_mkLdYHarriet: https://youtu.be/TgbcKkWdt70Dee: https://youtu.be/Dnh1ZvJn8fM#nellieoleson #littlehouseontheprairie #genx+++Read and Subscribe: https://superjews.substack.com/p/what-do-i-have-in-common-with-nellieListen: Follow the podcast link at https://linktr.ee/superjews OR search "Josh Bloom" on your favorite podcast app.+++More about me:I published my first newsletter before the age of ten, which I wrote using my next-door neighbor’s typewriter, and copied with carbon paper before distributing it to mailboxes on my bicycle. One of my first stories was an obituary of John Belushi. Strange for a ten year old? Yes!My writing today is governed by deadpan sarcasm that goes granular on various cultural topics that I am deeply curious about.
