One of the things he had to forget was the things he’d learned about God over the years (2:38)We try to manage our own lives and it is a form of control (10:13)Every time the thorn raises its head and you can’t manage it, be reminded that you need God. Let go of what you think and trust (14:05)God doesn’t seem to ever do anything the same. He’s keeping us on the edge of the mystery of who He is (23:37)This principle of letting go is all throughout the Bible.
