In 2013, Abbie Schaub and classmate Gemma Hoskins, along with friend and advocate Alan Horn, began investigating the unsolved 1969 murder of Sister Cathrine Cesnik. Sister Cathy was Abbie and Gemma's former teacher at Archbishop Keough High School in Baltimore, Maryland. What began as curiosity into the murder of a beloved teacher ended up becoming a years-long investigation that uncovered another unsolved murder and scores of survivors who were sexually abused by principal Father Joseph Maskell from Keough High. Abbie shares with us what how a simple investigation turned into the Netflix documentary series known as The Keepers.
