Episode 40: Power Pack #30

Issue one of the Crack Saga.  This is the issue that Alex begins his crusade against the insidious drug....CRACK! But, how is our blonde boy going to find out about this drug and what it does? Why through his new bestest (and possibly only) friend Johnny Rival and his gang. What a nice group of boys. I would like to tell you that this is a sunny tale, full of rainbows and unicorns, but there is not one equine looking creature around, and even the rainbow quota is low..which is impressive since one of the team can make rainbows at will. What we do have is a lot of physical abuse against family members and friends, criminal activities, drug use and, overdosing, and homicide. Remember how this is supposed to be a "kids book?" But we try to lighten the mood as much as we can, so don't be too sad.
