Episode 40 - Shauna MacDonald
from Persistent and Nasty · host Persistent and Nasty
In today’s episode Elaine chats to the wonderful Scottish, BAFTA award winning actress Shauna MacDonald. They discuss Shauna's introduction to drama and acting through youth theatre at PACE going on to drama school and then working in Film, Television and theatre. They talk the highs and lows of being a female in the industry and all that that entails. Lots of laughter, frustration and even some realisations. A great woman giving amazing advice and it’s pretty safe to say that we at P&N have a super big crush on this gorgeous human. Shauna is currently in rehearsals for the International tour of Kieran Hurley’s play Mouthpiece. It will be at the Traverse Theatre Edinburgh and Tron Theatre Glasgow before it heads out into the international scene. Mouthpiece co-stars Angus Taylor and is directed by Orla O’Loughlin.
