Episode 406: Going Sulu

Fans of Isaac Asimov have been waiting decades for an adaptation of his groundbreaking sci-fi series Foundation. Many have said it's unfilmable. It certainly is dense and a challenging narrative to translate to the screen. This week the Regular hosts, plus Irregular Joe Brian Mix, take a look at the first episode of Apple's lavish and ambitious effort to bring the millennium spanning tale to the masses. Or at least to their customers who need something to watch other than Ted Lasso. Brian also takes some time to catch the Joe's up on some of his recent adventures. Most notably hanging out with George Takei on the reproduction Star Trek original series set in Ticonderoga. All this plus the usual Random Topics, a round of What's in the Box.
